Nothing much
The week was long, it is hard to get back into the swing of things after a long vacation. I now have a horrible cold, and possible ear infection, if it still hurt tomorrow I will be going to the Dr. Cade finished up her spring break with spending time with family, and then time at a friends. Friday night Cade and I had a movie night. We watched Bolt (cute movie) and ate a ton of junk food. It was fun, and relaxing. Cade is very much ready to go back to school, and I am ready to have it all back on schedule.

I'm Back!!!
Cade and I got back from Vegas yesterday around 9 am. We had a lot of fun. Just to recap her is a few things we did: Blue Man Group (it was awesome), M&M World, Circus Circus Midway, Hoover Dam, 1800's Old Western Town, Shopping, We saw the World's largest Chocolate Fountain, and the Bellagio Fountains (I could watch it all day long). We did a lot of other things too that I am sure I will blog about later. The weather was awesome mid 80's. Sunday there was a big wind storm, but it wasn't too bad, we just stayed in. The flight was great left on time arrived early both ways and we go great seats. I could not have asked for a better time. Enjoy the pics.

5 days and counting...and more dumb economy stuff
I am counting down. Only five more days to go before I get to fly off to Vegas for a week!! I can't wait, and I am hoping the days go by fast. My work seems to be "re-organizing" and I am just hoping that I am left out of that equation. I am going to keep my fingers crossed. Everybody in my house is finally feeling better, and I am keeping my fingers crossed that it stays that way. I have two more days left of work before I get 10 off, I need to run some last minute errands, and pack, and I will be on my way!!!! And in case you didn't get it I CAN'T WAIT!!!! Enjoy the picture of Cade. She was a lot younger, and I am amazed at how much, and how fast she has grown. Peace be with you all!!

A Weekend, A slumber party, and the Flu....all in three days
This weekend we celebrated Mackenzie's eleventh birthday. I can't believe she is already eleven, it makes me feel sooo old. She had a wonderful party, I think at one point we had like 30 people at our house. She also continued her party with a slumber of 9 girls, they were good, but loud. Sunday morning I woke up with the flu, and until about now have been down and out. I don't deal well with being sick and even worse when it is the flu. I am feeling better now, and hopefully the rest of my week will continue on a good path. Cade and I are counting the days until Vegas, I am going to start packing and cannot wait to get on the plane and fly away, far, far, away. The picture I stole from Colleen...and she appropriately titled it insanity.

It is almost time---and a Happy Birthday
So eleven days and counting down! I cannot wait to go to Vegas, and get away from here for a lil' while, and escape my stressful life for a whole week!!! Today is my birthday, and because Cade is sick I didn't even have to work (even though I really financially need to). Cade has been sick all week. She has a horrible cough, that is making everything in her body hurt. She has been to the doctor twice, but all she has is a viral cold, and there is nothing really to do but wait it out. I am hoping she is feeling better tomorrow, her school is having a huge swim party that the kids have to earn by reading and I really don't want her to miss it. Tonight we are going to Tacos Locos to enjoy some fine Mexican cuisine for my birthday, and the will sing happy birthday to me while a wear a huge sombrero, I secretly like it when I get sang to at restaurants. After all it is the little things in life, right? Anyway take care all, pray for Cade please, she needs it. Thank you to everyone that wished me a happy birthday. Dang I am getting old!!! Here is Cade's basketball picture.

The services held for my Grandpa were great. We shared memories, and heard about his amazing life. We sang a tribute of "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" to symbolize his love for baseball, and after the memorial we enjoyed some Cracker Jacks. I got to see a lot of my family that I have not seen in years, and it was good to catch up. My brother also came, and he and I enjoyed a nice visit. He left today, I am sad and wish I could see him more often. I post a new picture tomorrow, and have updates on other things in my life. I just wanted to post one more tribute to my Grandpa, because he is amazing, and I love he and miss him sooooo much.
