This morning for some reason it hit my like a ton of bricks that Cade is really no longer a little baby! In a few weeks she will be eight years old, and a big third grader. As she took her shower today, and told me how her hair was going to be, and what she was going to wear I thought to myself: WOW! She has grown up, she has her own thoughts, and opinions, dreams, and hopes, and now I all can do is guide her through life the best I know how. She looked really grown up waiting for the bus with her hands tucked into the pockets of her jeans, and and as she got on the bus today I almost cried. Where has all the time gone? How did she grow up so fast? It seems like yesterday that she was crawling on the floor, and her only worry was when she was going to get her next bottle. Now I am getting all the questions.....Why do you have to work? How do you pay all the bills? Whats for dinner? Why do I have to go to bed so early? .....there are so many questions, things I would not think that she would think about, but obviously does. She is incredible, has been through a lot in her little eight years, and here's hoping it only get better.

Happy Mother's Day
Happy Mother's Day to all the moms, and grandmas!!! My day has been eventful. I worked for 5 hours, it went quick and was early in the morning so it wasn't too bad. Cade had a softball game, the weather was nice, and she did a great job hitting the ball. My car is sick, which is not good, but I am hoping that it will get fixed tomorrow! It needs a new alternator. The weather seems to be shaping up, and in general life is going good for Cade and I. I will post some pics later. I hope all you moms had a wonderful day!!!
