Just another day...

Today was simple! Work, pick Cade up from the Boys and Girls Club, make dinner...all of Cade's Favorites....Mac n Cheese, Chicken Nuggets, Mash Potatoes and Gravy, and Corn. It was good, and simple, just the way I like it! Cade started Battle of the Books today...she has to read five chapter books in one month....CRAZY...but she is determined to get it done! Other than that all is good in this house, we have our health, a roof, food, water, and some good people in our lives, so we can't really complain! Back to Work...

Today I finally got to go back to work!!! I am feeling much better, still a little tired, but not feeling sick! Other than that we are just working, going to school, doing Karate, and hanging out at night!!!! Today was freezing here, I must have slept through the fall because I missed it we went straight from summer to winter! I think we might have reached 60 degrees today, which is a far cry from our normal 80-90s. It also rained, and hailed...and I am thinking it is almost time to turn on the heat!!! Ahhhh....

Today I am feeling better! I am going to disinfect my house, and try to get things back in order. It is still unclear as to what was actually wrong with me, but I am telling you all it was horrible! My throat hurt, my body ached, I had a fever, and major body chills, and I hurt from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet. I went to the hospital on Friday. They did strep test and influenza test that both came back negative, but still diagnosed me with influenza because I had all the symptoms. They prescribed me some anit-viral pills that must be like gold because they were expensive! So anyway here is hoping to a better week for me, and I am praying Cade doesn't end up with this. And yes thats me in the picture, and yes I know I am cute!!!!

The sickness...

My throat hurts bad!!! I have a fever, and my body aches!! I really want whatever this is to go away...but, I am thinking that I am going to have to go to the Dr. Cade also has been under the weather with some horrible cold....I so can't wait for the weekend so we can sleep in and not have a hectic schedule. Tonight we had back to school night so I got to check out Cade's classroom and chat with her teacher a bit. I didn't stay long due to the fact that I am so not feeling well. Today however, I am thinking God for some special people in my life...that never fail to amaze me, and are ALWAYS there for me when I need them....you know who you are and I thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!!! The short weekend...

Today I took Cade to Medford so she could get new glasses. Yes she has misplaced her Hot Pink ones...I am sad because I liked those ones, and because it hit the pocket book to replace them, but what do you expect? She got two new pairs...her favorite are her new thick purple plastic, cat eyed shaped ones that look like they jumped right off my moms face in the 1960s. But Cade has to wear them, and she likes them! The other pair is just a back up and are nothing fancy. Other than that I just did a little laundry, and ran some other errands. I am going to be working for the next six days, which sucks, however the money will be nice. Also, Mom I changed the layout for you, I hope you enjoy it!

Back on schedule...CRAZY at work

So Cade and I are adjusting well to the new schedule. She is enjoying third grade so far, but it has only been two days! Tomorrow she is going to walk to daycare...this is a first so I am hoping it all goes well.

My work has officially hit the busy season which means overtime for me. I am thankful for the extra money, but not the extra hours. It is going to mean some more scheduling adjustments, but I think we will be able to handle it. I am just wondering what these people are doing with all the beads that go out our doors.

I am hoping to have a low key weekend with some much needed house scrubbing, and laundry. Sounds fun, huh? If you wanna come help, just let me know. I will also be going to get Cade a new pair of glasses since she has lost hers. I am going to get her two pairs, just to be on the safe side.

I am missing all my friends that live far away and wishing we all lived in the same town again, however, I am thinking we would get into too much trouble if we all lived close together. But it would be good, fun trouble.

Jason Visits

My good friend Jason came to visit me this weekend. I have not seen him for almost nine years...and we had a good time. Michelle came from Klamath and we all had a blast. We went to the Family Fun Center and played Nascar forever..and rode the go-karts. Followed by a night of drinking and bar hopping that was a blast. Today I am thanking God for good friends, and family.

Cade and I will be spending today getting ready for school tomorrow. I can't believe that she is going into the third grade, YIKES! She has her outfit all picked out, and I just need to get her a few more school supplies that are on her list and we are good to go. I am glad it is finally here, very much needing to get back onto a schedule!
